ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection from the life threat made by the respondents 3 to 5 on the basis of the complaint, dated 23.09.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner and the private respondents, CSR.Nos.211 and 212 of 2024 came to be registered and at the time of enquiry, both parties informed that they have settled the matter amicably and on that basis, they have closed the complaints. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there was no settlement as stated by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and that the private respondents have been threatening the petitioner continuously.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
