ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018.

2. The case of the petitioner is that during the year 2007, her husband V.P.Murugan started a cable TV business, under the name and style of Shri Meenatchi Cable Network, at PRC Colony, Tirunagar, by obtaining proper permission from the 2nd respondent and he died on 25.09.2017. After the demise of her husband, she gave a representation dated 13.12.2017 to the second respondent, requesting him to change the licence in her name for continuing the cable TV business. However, the 2nd respondent, by proceedings dated 20.02.2018, rejected the said representation that she has to obtain a separate licence from the Postal Department. In the mean time, her brother-in-law, one V.P.Balamurugan, got a separate licence and captured the customers of her husband. Further, the said Balamurugan has also damaged the cable 2/4

wires and network junction boxes belonging to the petitioner. Therefore, she made another representation dated 20.08.2018 to the second respondent, requesting him to take necessary actions as against the said Balamurugan and to cancel the LCO licence granted to him. As there was no action on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 21.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.
