This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus forbearing respondent Nos.2 to 4 from drawing electricity line across the bank of Manjalkulam at Manamelkudi Village, Pudukkottai District.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 to 4 submitted that already steps are being taken to shift the electric line pursuant to the objection made by the petitioner and the proposal for shifting of the electricity line was also placed before this Court. 2/4
3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to act upon the proposal that has already been made and thereafter, shift the electric line as per the proposal and complete the work as expeditiously as possible.
4. This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
