to hold enquiry in respect of the above lands and submit report to the 1st respondent.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to forbear the respondents 3 to 5 from granting permission to the respondents 6 to 10 and their men, servants and their agents to conduct festival or temple festival whatsoever scheduled to take place from 04.06.2016 to 06.06.2016, in petitioner's lands measuring 44 cents comprised in Survey No.251/1, Eluvampatti, Muthalaikulam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and to direct the 2nd respondent to hold enquiry in respect of the above lands and submit report to the first respondent.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infrcutuous.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Writ Petition is dismissed as infrcutuous. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
