O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner alleges that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the Block Development Officer has already given an estimate to the petitioner. But the petitioner is not coming forward to pay the amount.

4. The petitioner's counsel states that work will not involve an expense of more than Rs.1,000/- and that an inflated estimate has been given.

5. The petitioner is ready to carry out the work himself. The petitioner is permitted to carry out the work himself. The petitioner gives an undertaking that he will carry out the work in proper manner. There will not be any room for complaint from the authorities. The 2/4

petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.3,600/- as deposit amount to the Panchayat. The petitioner can take up the work only after making the said deposit. The petitioner shall carry out the work only after giving prior intimation to the local panchayat and in the presence of the panchayat employees.
