This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant house site Patta to the petitioner's house bearing Old No.2/126-B and New No.2/127 of Karungadal Village Panchayat situated to an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents comprised in Natham Survey No.860/26 of Karunkadal Village, Santhankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she has made a representation to the second respondent on 04.05.2021, seeking Patta to her house bearing Old No. 2/126-B and New No.2/127 of Karungadal Village Panchayat situated to an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents comprised in Natham Survey No.860/26 of Karunkadal Village, Santhankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.05.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunities, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
