ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. K.G. Arunkumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. R. Suresh Kumar, Government Advocate for the 1st respondent, this Court made the following order:

"The learned Counsel for the Petitioners has filed this Petition seeking extension of time. It is the contention of the learned Counsel for the Petitioners that the Petitioners and the second Respondent jointly filed a petition for compromise quash the case in Crime No.432 of 2021 for the alleged offences 147, 294(b), 324 and 506(i) of IPC on the file of the 1st Respondent Police before this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.2744 of 2022 and the same was allowed and the Petitioners are directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- as costs to the High Court Legal Services Authority, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai on or before 16.02.2022 by its order dated 14.02.2022. Due to financial crisis, the Petitioners are unable to pay the amount of Rs.5,000/- within stipulated time.

2. In view of the same, further period of two weeks is granted to the Petitioners to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- as costs to the High Court Legal Services Authority, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai from the date of receipt of the copy of this order."
