This Petition has been filed seeking to withdraw the case on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur District, in IDOP.No.168 of 2023 and transfer the same to the Family Court, Trichy District. 1/4

2.The brief facts are as follows:

The marriage between the parties was solemnized on 30.10.2020. Out of the above said wedlock, they blessed with one female child. Thereafter the respondent often made harassment to the petitioner and she left the matrimonial home and residing with her parents. After that the respondent filed the above said IDOP proceedings on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur. The petitioner intends to file HMOP proceedings and DVC proceedings before the appropriate Court in Trichy District. Hence, she seeks transfer the above said IDOP proceedings to Family Court, Trichy.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the respondent has no objection to transfer the case to the file of Family Court, Trichy.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the convenience of the wife, the I.D.O.P.No.168 of 2023 2/4

filed by the respondent on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur, is ordered to be withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court, Tiruchirappalli.

6.Accordingly, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29.02.2024 Index :
