O R D E R

At the previous hearing, learned Government Advocate requested for time to obtain instructions as to whether the Tahsildar had identified appropriate land in Kulithalai for allotment to the petitioner. On the basis of written instructions from the Tahsildar, learned Government Advocate submits land admeasuring 1 Are, which is equivalent to about 2.47 cents in Survey No.404/1 was offered to the petitioner, but the petitioner refused to accept the same.

2. The order impugned in this writ petition directed the Tahsildar, Kulithalai, to identify a land of not less than three cents. Learned Government Advocate submits that a land of more than three cents would be identified and offered to the petitioner. By recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
