Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it was informed by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents that the notice has been issued and it is open to the petitioner to submit a fresh objection, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

2.In the meanwhile, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has also made an endorsement to withdraw this writ petition.

3. In view of the submissions made on either side, this writ petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to file objections, if any, in addition to the representation dated 28.09.2022, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case such objections are made, the respondents herein are directed to consider and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from

the date of receipt of an objections of the petitioner. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the respondents to consider the representation and objection on its own merits.
