This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family based on the complaint dated 05.09.2023 in accordance with law. 1/4

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner's representation sent to the Manapparai police station. But the petitioner wrongly mentioned the second respondent police station in this petition. 4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to file fresh application after rectifying the mistake.
