ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that her application for issuance of legal heir certificate of the deceased Kasthuri, W/o.Gandhi, has not been considered by the respondent, has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is not entitled for a legal heir certificate and therefore, decision has not been taken on the petitioner's application.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is no other legal heir other than the petitioner for the deceased Kasthuri and therefore, the petitioner is entitled for a legal heir certificate.

4. In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to produce relevant documents to 2/4

prove that she is the only legal heir of the deceased Kasthuri, W/o.Gandhi, before the respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall conduct an enquiry and take a decision in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from thereon. No costs. 25.09.2023 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
