Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, there is no representation for the revision petitioner. However, this Court is inclined to dispose of the matter, since the prayer sought for in the Revision Petition is to direct the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.744 of 2017, within the stipulated time.

2. On perusal of records, it appears that the revision petitioner herein filed H.M.O.P.No.744 of 2017 before the Family Court, Madurai, for divorce, in the year 2017 itslef. However, the said petition has not been disposed of till date. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed.

3. As per the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, the matrimonial cases should be disposed of within a period of one year from the date of filing the petition. But, the said petition is pending for more than two years.

4. Considering the fact that the divorce petition has been filed in the year 2017 and also in view of Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, this Court directs the learned Judge, Family https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRP(MD)No.2072 of 2019 Court, Madurai, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.744 of 2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
