ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Administrative Officer of the 3rd respondent Sugar Mill, seeking a Mandamus directing the authorities to pay encashment of Earned Leave.

2. Seeking the said relief, the petitioner has sent various representations and the last representation was sent on 01.04.2022 to the 3rd respondent.

3. According to the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the petitioner had made some irregular appointments, which has caused financial loss to the sugar mill and hence, his benefits are yet to be released. However, no orders have been passed pointing out the reason why a part of the terminal benefits have not been released.

4. In view of the above said facts, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on the representation 2/4

made by the writ petitioner on 01.04.2022 relating to the disbursal of his earned leave salary and gratuity within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
