JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by N.Seshasayee, J.) In a departmental proceedings, the appellant was suspended pending enquiry. That came to be challenged by the appellant before the learned Single Judge in W.P.(MD) No.5546 of 2015. Since the appellant was reinstated pursuant to an interim order passed by the learned Single Judge, as a result of which the order of suspension earlier passed by the respondent lapsed, the writ petition came to be disposed as having become infructuous.. This is now under challenge in this appeal.

2. While the learned counsel for the appellant seeks some time, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would inform the Court that during the pendency of this proceedings, the departmental enquiry had completed and the appellant had since been dismissed from service. And he challenged the same in an intra-departmental appeal.

3. Very obviously, nothing survives in the writ appeal. Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is closed. No costs.
