For Respondent : Mr.M. Muthumanikkam, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.276 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/accused Nos.1,3 to 6 who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 509 and 506(i) I.P.C., and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in Cr.No.276 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused No.2 circulated the morphing video of the defacto complainant to all the other accused and hence, the present complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and a false case has been foisted against them. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State would submit that the defacto complainant has got divorce from her husband and is living separately and that the second accused circulated the morphing video of the defacto complainant to all other accused. He would further submit that the investigation is going on.

5. Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offences alleged and also the fact that the investigation is pending as stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners at this point of time.
