O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Survey Nos.96/1 and 99/1 in joint Patta No.1517 situated in Sempoothi Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District along with police protection, on the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that already the property in Survey Nos.96/1 and 99/1 in joint Patta No.1517 situated in Sempoothi Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District was surveyed on 20.09.2021.

3. Considering the above said submission, this Court is of the view that the petitioner's prayer for measuring the property again and again cannot be 2/4

accepted by the authorities and if there is any dispute regarding the extent of the land, which is in possession, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent civil Court for appropriate remedy. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
