Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the third respondent to provide police protection for cultivation in the petitioners property situated at Trichy District, Lalgudi Taluk, Poovaloor West Village, Nanja land in Survey No.283/3, total extent of 2 acres 08 cents out of which 0.69 cents each belong to the petitioners based on the complaint, dated 19.09.2019, within the stipulated period as fix by this Court.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to provide police protection for cultivation in the petitioners property situated at Trichy District, Lalgudi Taluk, Poovaloor West Village, Nanja land in Survey No.283/3, total extent of 2 acres 08 cents out of which 0.69 cents each belong to the petitioners based on the complaint, dated 19.09.2019, within the stipulated period as fix by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that based on a complaint lodged by the petitioners, the third respondent has conducted enquiry with the fourth respondent and the same was closed as 'Civil in Nature' and all the parties are directed to approach the concerned Civil Court for appropriate relief in the manner known to law. There is already stay is pending in respect of partition on their parties in O.S. No. 493 of 2019 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Lalgudi.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the petitioners are directed to approach the concerned Civil Court for getting appropriate relief in the manner known to law.
4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
