ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections (*)294(b), 323, 324, 307 IPC r/w Section 3(1)(r)(s) and Section 3(2)(v) of SC/ST(POA) Amendment Act, 2015 in Crime No.223 of 2021 seeks anticipatory bail.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation reveals that the offence under Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act is also attracted in this case and the offences have been altered into including Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

3. In the view of the said submission, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned First Additional District Judge (PCR Court), Trichy District, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order. On such surrender, the First Additional District Judge (PCR Court), Trichy District, may consider the bail application filed by the petitioner on merits on the same day of surrender, after giving notice to the defacto complainant. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
