This writ petitioner filed this Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1 to 5 respondents to give necessary protection to the petitioner and to take necessary action against the concerned person 6 and 7 respondents, doing illegal business of collecting exorbitant interests from the poor people like the petitioner.

2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3.Heard both sides.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a complaint has been given by the petitioner on 30.06.2023, against the counter party stating that the seventh respondent is insisting exorbitant interest and also making life threat.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that inspite of the above, summon was issued to the petitioner, but he has not appeared. Whereas respondents 6 and 7 appeared and gave a statement to the effect that so far as money transaction is between one Sivasami and this petitioner. The respondents 6 and 7 are no way involved or concerned.

6. If it is so, let the complaint given by the petitioner itself, be closed. Liberty is also available to the petitioner to workout remedy against the said Sivasami and other, if so advised. 3/5
