This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue new Patta to the petitioner pertaining to the property situated at Trichy District, Trichy Registration District, Srirangam Taluk, Woriyur Sub Registrar Office, Adhavathur East Village in Old S.F.No. 93/A3A1, New S.F.No. 105/5, Old Patta No.995 admeasuring hector 0.06.5 acre 0.13 cents of land along with thatched roof motor room in the light of petitioner's representation, dated 03.09.2022, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that the property situated at Trichy District, Trichy Registration District, Srirangam Taluk, Woriyur Sub Registrar Office, Adhavathur East Village in Old S.F.No.93/A3A1, New S.F.No. 105/5, Old Patta No.995 admeasuring hector 0.06.5 acre 0.13 cents originally belongs to the petitioner. She has made a representation to the second respondent on 03.09.2022, seeking new Patta. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.09.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunities, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
