ORDER
The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the fourth respondent for exercising social boycott against him and to assess house tax to his house, comprised in S.Nos.108/2C7 and 108/4A, measuring an extent of 4.97 cents, situated in Mappilaiyurani Village of Thoothukudi Taluk and District forthwith, without considering the objection of the fourth respondent, by considering the petitioner's representations, dated 14.03.2022 and 08.08.2022. 2.
Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Ms.K.Chirsty Theboral, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that house tax receipt has already been issued to the petitioner on 05.11.2022. 3.
Insofar the claim made by the petitioner regarding excommunication/social boycott, this Court is not inclined to entertain such 2/4
prayer. It is left open to the petitioner to agitate his claim regarding excommunication/social boycott before the authorities concerned in the manner known to law, if so advised. If the petitioner approaches the authorities concerned within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, they shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Index : Yes/No 07.11.2022 smn2 To 1.The District Collector, Thoothukudi.
