This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr. P.C., to call for the records pertaining to the case in CC No.117/2015 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, Thanjavur District and quash the same.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. M. Pitchai Muthu, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. R. Suresh Kumar, Government Advocate For R1; this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court with regard to the payment of cost in Crl.O.P(MD) No.8250 of 2022 dated 28.04.2022.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that earlier this Court by an order dated 28.04.2022 quashed the proceedings in C.C. No.117 of 2015 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, Thanjavur District and directed the Petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.5000/- as costs to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD). No.13419 of 2022 Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9 (Account No.11720 10000 00070, IFSC Code: IOBA0001172). Since the Petitioner was unable to comply with the condition he has filed this petition.

3. Considering the request of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, time granted by this Court vide order dated 28.04.2022 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.8250 of 2022 is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
