For Respondent : Mr.R.Sivakumar, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.378 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 465, 468, 471 and 473 of IPC, in Crime No.378 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner has fabricated the certificates as if he owned 38 acres of land and the same was downloaded in the net. Thereafter, he got crop insurance amount by forging the signature and seal of the VAO/defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.01.2022, this Court has granted time to the learned counsel for the intervenor to file an intervene petition, but till date, he has not filed the intervening petition.

No.21113 of 2021 5.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the intervenor would submit that the petitioner is the Post Master at Palapathiraramapuram Village, Tenkasi District, that he fabricated the certificate, wherein, forged the de-facto complainant's signature and also got crop insurance amount and that he is having serious objections to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the petitioner has fabricated the certificates as if he owned 30 acres of land and the same was downloaded in the net and he has also forged the de-facto complainant's signature and that the investigation is pending.
7.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the fact that the investigation is pending as stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 8.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 21/02/2022 / TRUE COPY / / /2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
