PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to revised scale of pay of the post of Assistant Water Analyst as i.e., 15600-39100 + 5700/- instead of 15600-39100 + 5400 by consonance with the proceedings of the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in R.No.82558/E1/S4/2020, dated 30.11.2020 and by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 24.07.2023 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to revise the pay scale of the post of Assistant Water Analyst in consonance with R.No.82558/E1/S4/2020, dated 30.11.2020 by considering his representation, dated 24.07.2023.
2. The petitioner has contended that the scale of pay for the Assistant Water Analyst is Rs.15600 - 39100/- (PB3) + Grade Pay Rs. 5400. In view of the fact that the panel was drawn belatedly, he could not 2/5
draw the monetary benefits. Though the prayer is for a positive Mandamus to revise the scale of pay, on instructions, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider his representation.
3. In view of the above said facts, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner, dated 24.07.2023 and if he finds that the petitioner is eligible for the revised scale of pay, he shall forward the same to the 1st respondent. The said exercise shall be completed by the 3rd respondent within a periof of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of to the extent as stated above. No costs. 13.10.2023 NCC :
