This Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent herein to take appropriate action against the third respondent based on the complaint, dated 25.05.2024 within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the Assistant Superintendent of Police has conducted detailed enquiry and the same was ordered to be closed on 25.07.2024.

3. Mr.K.Prabhu, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent has produced the copy of the closure report of the Assistant Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil, dated 25.07.2024. 2/4

4. Recording the same, this writ petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law. No costs.
