This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta for the petitioner's property in R.S.Nos. 768/4 and 768/5 at Vilpatty Village, Kodaikanal Taluk. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that his application, dated 17.05.2024 for grant of patta for the land in R.S.Nos. 768/4 and 768/5 has not been considered by the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner has not sent the application in the proper form and therefore, the petitioner's application was not considered. According to him, as per the new system, the applications have to be sent only through online along with necessary documents. In the event if the petitioner uploads the 2/5

application with necessary documents through online, the same would be considered and a decision would be taken within a reasonable time. 4.This Court has considered the rival submissions made. 5.Since the learned Government Advocate claims that a procedure has been laid for grant of patta by entertaining applications only through online, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application through online along with the required documents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event if any such application is filed, the respondents shall consider the same and take a decision, within a period of four weeks from there on. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
