ORDER
The petitioner, with a grievance that the case which has been registered in the year 2014 in Crime No.328 of 2014, on the file of the third respondent police, 3/6
has not reached its finality, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the third respondent to conclude the investigation in the said case. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.328 of 2014 has been registered on 18.10.2014 for the offences under Sections 406 & 420 IPC. Since the accused is a powerful finance company, the respondent Police, by colluding with the said finance company, has not filed the final report. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the issue was already referred to mediation and some of the jewels have been returned and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. He further submits that after the earlier order of this Court dated 01.07.2025, the Superintendent of Police, Madurai, has also transferred the investigation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Usilampatti, Madurai District, to ensure a fair investigation. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that action has also been initiated as against the erring officials. 4.Since it is reported that the case has been entrusted with the second respondent/Deputy Superintendent of Police, Usilampatti, Madurai District, for a 4/6
