ORDER

The Criminal Revision is directed against the order passed in 1/4

Crl.M.P.No.2931 of 2023 dated 09.05.2023 on the file of the Court of the Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam.

2. The petitioner has filed a petition under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. and the same was taken on file in Crl.M.P.No.2931 of 2023 and the learned Magistrate, after hearing the petitioner's counsel, has passed the impugned order directing the Inspector of Police, Surandai Police Station to conduct an enquiry and if any cognizable offence is made out, register an FIR and to submit a report.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that in pursuance of the said directions, the Inspector of Police, Surandai Police Station has already filed a report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam on 18.06.2023 and that the learned Magistrate is yet to pass any orders on the basis of the report filed by the police.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be given liberty to initiate further proceedings. 2/4

5. Since the learned Magistrate has not passed any orders with regard to the report filed by the police, the learned Magistrate is to be directed to hear the parties and to pass necessary orders in accordance with law.

6. Considering the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam is hereby directed to issue notice to the concerned parties and hear the parties and pass orders with regard to the report filed by the Inspector of police, Surandai Police Station within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Revision Case stands disposed of. No costs.
