The Civil Revision Petition is filed for a direction to direct the Additional District Court, Paramakudi, to expedite the enquiry in O.S.No.83 of 2022 and to dispose the same within a time to be fixed by this Court. 1/4

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and also perused the materials available on record.

3.According to the petitioners/defendants, the respondent/plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.83 of 2022 before the Additional District Court, Paramakudi, for partition and for declaration against the petitioners. In the said suit, issues were framed on 10.01.2023 and thereafter, the case was posted for trail on 26.09.2023. The said suit is pending without any progress. The only intention of the respondent/plaintiff to drag on the suit proceedings. Hence, the present petition is filed. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the suit was filed on 29.09.2022 and written statement was filed on 15.12.2022 and issues were framed on 10.01.2022. Even after framing issues, the trial Court is adjourning the matter without any valid reasons. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioners are senior citizens, have to see the fruits of the decree in their life time and hence, he seeks for speedy disposal of the suit.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Additional District Court, Paramakudi, to dispose the suit 2/4

in O.S.No.83 of 2022 on merits and in accordance with law, without giving unnecessary adjournment, after affording opportunity to the respective parties to put forth their contentions, as early as possible, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
