ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate steps against the private respondents and their men for excommunication of the petitioner's family and ensure the petitioner worship during the event of festival of the temples situated in the 2/5
petitioner's village and to receive Thalaikattu Vari from the petitioner as like receiving from other villagers in further with help of the police by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 27.09.2024. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State has filed the report of the Tahsildar.
3.It is not in dispute that the Tahsildar has convened a peace committee meeting in 2023 and the resolution came to be passed and that though they have directed the temple management to receive the temple tax from the petitioner and when the same was demanded by the management as well as the Tahsildar, the petitioner by citing the pendency of the present writ petition, has refused to pay the amount.
4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given an undertaking that he would pay the temple tax as and when demanded by the temple management and he has also filed an affidavit in this regard.

5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is directed to pay the temple tax and the temple management is directed to receive the same. No costs.
