ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant joint patta in favour of the petitioner and his wife in respect of the property situated in Old Survey No.394/1, Re-survey No.394/1A, measuring 161.66 sq. meters, Viruveedu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's patta Application No. 2025/0105/13/496054, dated 30.07.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Vetrivel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he and his wife, Kaliyammal purchased the subject property under a registered sale deed dated 28.06.2010. He submitted an online application on 30.07.2025 in Application No.2025/0105/13/496054, seeking issuance of joint patta in

his name and his wife. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 30.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
