ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to cancel the separate Patta No.9471 and Joint Patta No.5315 issued in the name of the sixth respondent in respect of the property situated in Survey Nos.131/2A and 131/2B and to restore the old Patta No.50 in Kulayaneri Village, Veerakeralam Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2024.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Sathiamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to them is dispensed with. 3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, 2 Acres 22 cents of land in Survey No.131/2B belonged to the petitioner's family. In the year 2008, the petitioner and other members of the family executed a release deed in respect of 1 Acre of land in the northern portion in favour of the sixth respondent's husband, Ganesan. He executed a document in favour of the sixth respondent and thereafter, obtained separate patta in the name of the sixth respondent for a large extent. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 31.12.2024, seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of the sixth respondent and restoration of the old

patta. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be consider in accordance with law.

6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, private respondents 5 and 6 and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
