Order : This criminal miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.RAJA BOOPATHY D, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.B.THANGA ARAVINDH, Government Advocate (Crl. side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8846 of 2024 dated 18.06.2024 to permit the petitioner to furnish general sureties instead 1/3

of executing a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police. 3.This application is filed under a wrong impression that this Court while granting anticipatory bail has directed the petitioner to furnish cash surety of Rs.25,000/- for the release of bail. This Court has imposed the condition to furnish the surety to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- and it is not a cash surety. 4.In view of the above, there is no reason for modifying the order dated 18.06.2024 passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8846 of 2024.
