ORDER

The petitioner has made an application to the Corporation for sub-division of his property in Survey No.29 situated at Devathanam Village, Trichy East Taluk, Trichy District and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider his application in accordance with law.

2. The learned respective counsel appearing for the respondents submit that the competent authority to sub-divide the property is the Tahsildar. The petitioner, without submitting any application to the concerned Tahsildar, has filed this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner requests this Court to grant liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation 2/4

to the concerned Tahsildar for sub-division of property.

4. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the concerned Tahsildar for sub-division of the property. No costs.
