PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint as Noon Meal organizer at Panchayat Union Primary School, Sithukadu Villae, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2018. ORDER
In the absence of any representation for the petitioner on 15.12.2021, the following order was passed:
"The petitioner is called absent.
2. Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader would contest the writ petition, placing on record an appointment order dated 06.02.2018, whereunder one K.Vadivu has been appointed as a Noon Meal Organiser in the Panchayat Union Primary School, Sithukadu Village, Pattukottai Taluk.
3. The selected candidate apart from belonging to the Adi Dravidar category, was also differently-abled.
4. List 'for dismissal' on 22.12.2021."

Since the factum of appointment of K.Vadivu has come to his knowledge only filing upon the counter, he would submit on behalf of the petitioner, that the present writ petition is not pursued any longer. 3.Recording the aforesaid and for the reasons set out in order dated 15.12.2021, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
