ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for the deliberate and wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.19226 of 2022 dated 23.08.2022.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the order that was passed by this Court in W.P.(MD). No.19226 of 2022 dated 23.08.2022, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, the fifth respondent namely Nagarajan agreed to abide by the direction that was issued by this HR & CE Department. But however, he stated that trouble may be created at that time of giving the first honour to the petitioner. On that ground, a representation was made by the respondent to the Revenue Officer, Musiri, on 21.02.2023 to convene a peace committee meeting.

3. The petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Court at that time of peace committee meeting. Let the peace committee meeting shall be convened by the competent authority within fifteen 2/4

days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, so that the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
