1562/1/24 situates at Mayiladumparai Village, Thangammalpuram, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District, within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court.

The petitioner has approached the revenue officials for conducting survey of his land in S.Nos. 1562/1/17,1562/1/23 and 1562/1/24, Mayiladumparai Village, Thangammalpuram, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District and also sought for patta for the said lands, by an application, dated 19.09.2024 and filed this writ petition that his application has not been considered by the respondents. 2.Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submits that the petitioner has submitted his application only in the month of September 2024 and they have called for a report from the Tahsildar, Theni and on receipt 2/5

of the same and after conducting an enquiry, suitable order would be passed by the respondents within a reasonable time. According to the learned Government Advocate, the District Revenue officer is the competent authority to take a decision on this issue.
