Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pay the compensation of Rs.1,11,00,000/- totally to the petitioner, her deceased husband and her daughter due to the dereliction of the 6th respondent in taking necessary action on the petitioners complaint dated 18.09.2020 relating to the accident dated 09.06.2020 made to the 5th respondent, based on the petitioners representation dated 31.08.2024 made to the respondents herein in general and the 1st respondent in particular.

By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/5

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pay compensation of Rs.1,11,00,000/- to the 1st petitioner, her deceased husband and her daughter/2nd petitioner due to the dereliction of the 6th respondent in taking necessary action on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.09.2020 relating to the accident dated 09.06.2020 made to the 5th respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2024 made to the respondents herein in general and the 1st respondent in particular.

3. A perusal of the prayer would go to show that the petitioners are trying to achieve what they could not achieve before the Tribunal. The petitioners seek compensation for the death of their breadwinner in a motor accident. The remedy of the petitioners lies only before the Tribunal and not before the writ Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
