ORDER
According to the petitioner, he is having a right to an extent of 45.5 cents in S.No.32/1, Malavarayanenthal Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivaganga District, however, the patta has been issued only for 39.5 cents. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted an application and the same is pending in Na.Ka.No.424/2022/A3. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 03.08.2024 to the official respondents and has filed this writ petition.
2.Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the official respondents and submitted that the petitioner has submitted the 2/5
representation only on 03.08.2024 and that appropriate orders would be passed, after conducting an enquiry.
3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner responded that as early as on 20.09.2021, the petitioner has made the application for rectifying the error, based on which, the second respondent has commenced enquiry in Na.Ka.No.424/2022/A3, however, the same is still pending. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted the further representation dated 03.08.2024 for early disposal of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.424/2022/A3. 4.This Court considered the rival submissions made on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.424/2022/A3, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties, as 3/5
expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Index :
