When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, submitted that the unauthorized harvesting is over and no such activity takes place, as on now, in S.Nos.78, 79/1 & 79/2 in Ponnali Village, Udayanenthal group, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach this Court, if any such activity takes place in future over a government land. No costs.
