[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.KR.Singaravadivel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to implement the recommendation of the second respondent, 1/3

dated 24.09.2018, with regard to rectification of mistake occurred in the online guideline value, within a stipulated time.

3. By way of the communication, dated 24.09.2018, the petitioner has been intimated that the mistake, which is occurred in the online guideline value of the property in question, will be rectified and necessary proposal to that effect has been forwarded to the Inspector General of Registration. According to the petitioner, more than ten months elapsed and nothing has been happened. Therefore, he has filed the present writ petition.

4. On perusal of the communication, dated 24.09.2018, emanating from the Office of the District Registrar, Virudhunagar District, it is seen that there is a typographical error in the online guideline value and this has been agreed to be rectified and necessary recommendation has been made, so that the Inspector General of Registration can pass appropriate orders for rectifying the error occurred in the online guideline value.

5. Considering these facts, we direct the first respondent to consider the proposal given by the second respondent for effecting necessary changes in the online guideline value, if it is found that the discrepancy is on account of clerical error. This direction be complied with within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
