ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation, dated 11.10.2022.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced a proceedings of the fifth respondent/Tahsildar, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, in Na.Ka.Aa3/6009/2022, dated 09.11.2022, and submitted that the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking to correct his name in the legal heirship certificate of his deceased father - Raman, dated 31.01.2014, as Nagesh @ Alaguselvam instead of Alaguselvam. At present, the petitioner is living at Salem District and after holding an enquiry in the Village, the legal heirship certificate would be issued to him on the basis of the documents.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.10.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
