O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for expeditious investigation in Crime No.10 of 2022 dated 17.03.2022.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the police have completed the investigation and within four weeks, the charge sheet will be filed. It is submitted further that the delay is occurred on account of the fact that the accused No.1 is in abroad. It is submitted further that earlier the case has been registered by some other police station and subsequently, it was transferred to the All Women Police Station, Pattukottai.

3.Considering the fact that the accused No.1 is absconding and is in abroad and that so far 6 witnesses were examined, this Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet, as 2/4

quickly as possible, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
