ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to issue patta in respect of the property assigned in favour of the petitioner under the free house site scheme, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.C.Selvakumar, learned counsel
appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, the property situated in Survey No.103/2, Kulamangalam I-Pit Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, was assigned to him under the Government free house site scheme by an order dated 17.07.2007 passed by the fourth respondent. However, till date, e-patta for the subject property has not been issued to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 28.07.2025 seeking issuance of e-patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
