This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in WP(MD)No.4438 of 2024, dated 27-02-2024, directing the Tamilnadu Wakf Board, Chennai to conduct election in Mohaideen Andavar Pallivasal, Devakottai, Sivagangai District has not been complied with.

2.Today(02.12.2024), when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the 2/5

respondents/contemnors submits that the order of this Court has been complied with, by issuing an election notification, dated 28.11.2024 and the election is scheduled to be conducted in Mohaideen Andavar Pallivasal, Devakottai, Sivagangai District on 29.12.2024. A copy of the election notification, dated 28.11.2024 is also placed before this Court.
