ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The grievance of the petitioner is that the building which houses the Branch Library at Anandhur Village, R.S.Mangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, is in a very precarious and dilapidated condition and therefore, seeks for immediate action.

The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has filed the status report of the 3rd respondent, in which, he has admitted that the building is in a dilapidated condition and therefore, after the spot inspection conducted on 04.10.2024 by the Executive Engineer of Public Works Department, Ramanathapuram District, they had shifted the Branch Library to the Panchayat building on 07.10.2024. The learned Government Pleader has also produced the photographs of the Library which is now functioning in the Panchayat building. The status report filed also states that once the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department submits a detailed estimate and after sanction of funds, the old building will be demolished and a new building will be constructed by following the due procedure of law.
