ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner questions the impugned order of suspension. The order of suspension cannot be faulted. That was because it came to be passed owing to the implication of the writ petition in a vigilance case. However, the order of suspension cannot be kept pending beyond a reasonable period. The petitioner given a representation for revocation of the suspension. The respondent is directed to consider the same and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the respondent to pass order one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
