This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a mandamus to the respondent Police to initiate action on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 07.09.2022.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the complaint given by the petitioner has already been taken and a case in Crime No.205 of 2023 was registered against the accused.

3. Since the very purpose for filing this petition had already been defeated on account of registration of FIR, cause does not survive for the petitioner.
