The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2024 and pass final orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner purchased the land measuring 1.69.5 Hectares in S.Nos.631/1, 631/3, 631/4 and 631/5 in Thappi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District from one Sagunthala and others under a sale deed dated 07.02.2011. After purchase by the petitioner, the second respondent herein vide his order dated 30.11.2011 cancelled the assignment patta in favour of petitioner's vendor. Subsequently, the petitioner filed a civil suit in O.S.No.99 of 2011 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Lalgudi, seeking declaration of his title and consequential injunction. The said suit was decreed. On the strength of the civil Court's decree, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 26.08.2024 seeking to set aside the order passed by the 2/4
second respondent dated 30.11.2011. The said representation has not been considered by the first respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
